Hendry Mendez Traded to Minnesota
Hendry Mendez to the Minnesota Twins in a package to acquire outfielder Harrison Bader. Mendez was ranked as the No. 25 overall prospect in the system before the trade. Mendez has spent the entire 2025 campaign with Double-A Reading. Through his first 85 games at the Double-A level, Mendez has posted a strong .290/.374/.434 slash line with 13 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, and six stolen bases. Last summer, Mendez held a similar .284/.386/.391 line through 90 games at the High-A level. Fantasy managers should expect the 21-year-old to begin his time in Minnesota at the Double-A level, but he could push for a late-season promotion to Triple-A St. Paul.
