Philadelphia Phillies outfield prospect Hendry Mendez went 4-for-4 with a single, double, triple, and a home run during their contest against Double-A Hartford on Friday evening. In this contest, Mendez also scored three runs, tallied three RBI, and swiped a bag. Mendez is currently ranked as the No. 25 prospect in the Philadelphia system on MLB.com. After spending the 2024 campaign with High-A, Mendez was given the green light to open the 2025 campaign with Double-A. Throughout his first 59 games with Double-A Reading, the 21-year-old outfielder has posted a solid .295/.373/.454 slash line with 12 doubles, three triples, five home runs, and four stolen bases. Despite his impressive start, fantasy managers should expect Mendez to spend the majority of the season with Double-A.--Andy Smith
