Hayden Hurst Goes On COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons placed tight end Hayden Hurst, defensive end Jonathan Bullard, safety Jaylinn Hawkins and offensive tackle Willie Beavers on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. It remains to be seen if Hurst or any of the others will be able to pass through the league's new COVID-19 protocols in time to play on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. As expected, Hurst has taken a back seat to rookie first-rounder Kyle Pitts as the primary pass-catching tight end in Atlanta this year. Hurst has caught 25 of his 30 targets for 188 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games played and hasn't been on the fantasy radar with Pitts staying healthy all year. If Hurst cannot play this weekend, veteran Lee Smith would be the primary backup to Pitts for Atlanta.
