Gino Groover Earns All-Star Futures Game Selection
Arizona Diamondbacks corner infield prospect Gino Groover's strong start to the 2025 campaign has propelled him to a selection to the All-Star Futures Game on Saturday, July 12 at Truist Park. The D-backs' 10th-ranked prospect has put together a .301/.377/.471 slash line with 10 home runs through 67 games for Double-A Amarillo. His 78 hits and .301 average are second-best in the Texas League, while his SLG and OPS are both top five. The 23-year-old also showed well in his 13 games at Double-A last year, and now with 80 productive games to his name for the Sod Poodles, he should be in the mix for a promotion to Triple-A later this year.
