The San Francisco Giants selected shortstop Gavin Kilen out of the University of Tennessee with the 13th overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft. The left-handed slugger has a good reputation for making contact, with a 60-grade hit tool and hit .357 this past season for the Volunteers with a low 11.0 percent strikeout rate. Although not well known for pop, the 21-year-old belted 15 home runs in 2025 and draws comparisons to Gavin Lux.--Jarod Rupp
