Giants Seem Likely To Rest Starters In Week 18
2 years agoBased on what the New York Daily News' Pat Leonard witnessed during the New York Giants' practice on Thursday, it seems more likely that the team will rest several starters in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Eagles are still trying to clinch the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC, but the Giants are already locked into the No. 6 seed, so they really have nothing to play for this weekend. It's possible that some of New York's starters begin the game on Sunday before being pulled after a series or two, while others may not play altogether. Fantasy managers deciding whether to play the likes of Saquon Barkley, Daniel Jones, Darius Slayton and Richie James probably shouldn't take any chances.
