Eric Ebron Sitting Out OTAs
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron (groin), who underwent surgery on his groin in April, is sitting out of organized team activities this week. He's not expected to miss significant time, but he could be limited over the next few weeks as a precaution. Ebron made his first career Pro Bowl in 2018 after catching 66 passes for 750 yards and 13 touchdowns, which were all career highs. He set the Colts single-season record for a tight end with his 13 scores and led all NFL tight ends in receiving touchdowns. With Ebron and Jack Doyle out this week, Mo Alie-Cox was running as the No. 1 tight end. He's really improved his route running, but he won't make a fantasy impact in 2019 unless injuries occur ahead of him. Ebron is unlikely to improve upon last year, but he'll surely be a high-end TE1 target because of his excellent 2018 campaign.
