Eno Benjamin Figures To See More Playing Time
3 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Eno Benjamin figures to see more playing time moving forward after Chase Edmonds (ankle) suffered a high ankle sprain in the Week 9 win over the San Francisco 49ers. If Edmonds goes on Injured Reserve, he'd be required to miss at least three games. James Conner, who leads the NFL in touchdowns, will remain the focal point, but Benjamin scored his first career touchdown on Sunday and has made strides since basically sitting out his whole rookie year. Jonathan Ward is still dealing with a concussion, so the Cardinals are thin at the position. Benjamin, a former seventh-round pick, saw nine carries for 39 yards and the TD behind Conner last weekend. Especially if quarterback Kyler Murray (ankle) returns in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers, Benjamin could be worth a look as an RB3/flex in deeper leagues.
