DJ Chark Jr. Active On Monday Night
1 year agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. (hamstring), who was questionable to play on Monday night against the New Orleans Saints, is active and will make his debut for the Panthers. Chark has been dealing with a hamstring injury since late August and was forced to sit out of the team's Week 1 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Now that the 26-year-old is back, he'll give rookie first-round quarterback Bryce Young another receiving threat, mostly deep down the field. His return will be bad news for the fantasy ceilings of wideouts Adam Thielen and rookie Jonathan Mingo and tight end Hayden Hurst. The oft-injured Chark will most likely be a boom/bust WR4/5 in fantasy leagues this year in an offense that is expected to spread the ball around.
