DeSean Jackson Won't Play This Week As He Seeks A Trade
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay confirmed that wide receiver DeSean Jackson has received permission to seek a trade, and he will not be active in Week 8 against the Houston Texans as a result. The 34-year-old and the Rams have mutually agreed that a trade is in the best interest of both parties, and the veteran deep threat should receive some interest, as he's averaged 27.6 yards per catch and has a 75-yard touchdown reception this year. D-Jax played just four snaps last week, though, and it's clear that second-year receiver Van Jefferson has become the team's No. 3 receiver behind Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. As an inconsistent boom/bust deep threat, Jackson will find it hard to re-enter the fantasy picture, even if he lands in a favorable environment.
