Derek Carr Limited Again Thursday
1 year agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr (shoulder) was limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Carr suffered an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder in Week 3 but was surprisingly active in the Week 4 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Carr threw for over 300 yards in his first game with the team in the season opener, but he's regressed since then and hasn't cleared 127 yards passing in either of his last two games against the Bucs and Green Bay Packers. The 32-year-old veteran signal-caller should be able to play this Sunday against the New England Patriots, even if he's given a questionable designation on Friday. The Patriots lost two key defenders last week to injury, but Carr would still be a low-end QB2 in fantasy if he plays in Week 5.
