1 year agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones will start the team's second preseason game on Friday night against the Carolina Panthers, according to sources. As expected, most of the Giants' starter will play some in the second preseason contest, but their snap counts are to be determined. The 26-year-old Jones and the rest of the starters on offense probably won't be out there for too long after sitting in the preseason opener last week. Jones had the best season of his career in 2022 under first-year head coach Brian Daboll, and the organization is hoping he'll continue to improve from here. He'll have a new tight end in Darren Waller that should help, but Jones still doesn't provide enough as a passer to be considered anything more than a low-end QB1 in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
