D'Andre Swift Ready To Go For Week 17
3 years agoDetroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said that running back D'Andre Swift (shoulder) is ready to go for Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks and looks fresh. Swift has practiced in full this week and is expected to be removed from the final injury report. He has been out since suffering a shoulder sprain on Thanksgiving, but Campbell said the team wants to "cut him loose and let him continue to grow and get better." Swift led the team in targets before getting injured and has 56 catches for 429 yards in the passing game while averaging 19 touches per game. He also has 555 rushing yards and four touchdowns, averaging 4.0 yards per carry. It sounds as though Swift could have a decent-sized role, but he'll be rather risky as more of an RB3/flex because of his long layoff.
