Damien Harris Slowed By Knee Injury
1 year agoBuffalo Bills running back Damien Harris (knee), who has missed a combined 14 regular season games over the last three years due to injuries, was walking carefully around the sidelines at training camp on Monday with his helmet in his hands while not taking any repetitions in team drills due to a right knee injury. It allowed Latavius Murray to operate as the second RB. Harris and Murray are currently competing for the short-yardage/goal-line role in Buffalo's backfield behind starter James Cook, so any missed time from Harris could give Murray the advantage in the competition early in the regular season. It doesn't sound like too serious of an injury for Harris, though, so he should be considered day-to-day for now.
