Garrett Wilson Pads Week 5 Stats With Garbage-Time Score
Garrett Wilson caught six of his 10 targets for 71 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's Week 5 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Wilson remains Justin Fields' preferred target in the passing game and ranks in the WR2 tier as a result, but his Week 5 fantasy performance was admittedly inflated by a garbage-time touchdown. The former Ohio State product found the end zone with New York trailing by three possessions and just 2:49 left on the clock. Of course, fantasy managers don't care how or when players produce, as the results are the same either way. New York should continue to play from behind for most of this season, leaving ample opportunities for Wilson to boost his stats and reward fantasy managers as a mid-to-low WR2.
