D.K. Metcalf Good To Go Against Jaguars
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf (foot) returned to a limited practice on Friday and was removed from the final injury report for Week 8 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Metcalf continues to get a day off in the middle of the practice week, but he will be all systems go this weekend. The 23-year-old star wideout has managed an impressive eight catches on 12 targets for 154 yards and a touchdown in quarterback Geno Smith's two starts, and he's really the only offensive weapon to find success since Russell Wilson (finger) went on Injured Reserve. Metcalf has the physicality to beat up on anyone Jacksonville puts in front of him, but the question is whether Smith can find him regularly. Until Wilson returns, Metcalf will be a more volatile WR2 instead of an elite WR1.
