Cowboys Open To Extension For Dak Prescott
2 years agoDallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said that the team is committed to quarterback Dak Prescott long term and are open to extending his contract. Prescott is currently under contract with the Cowboys through the 2026 season, but the Cowboys aren't ruling out extending him further this offseason. The bottom line is that Prescott isn't going anywhere. The 29-year-old signal-caller just wrapped up his seventh season in the NFL and finished with a 66.2% completion percentage, 2,860 yards, 23 touchdowns and a career-high 15 interceptions in only 12 regular season games due to a broken right hand suffered early in the year. He should bounce back in 2023 with better health, but Prescott will also be working with a new offensive coordinator.
