The Washington Commanders and Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy are finalizing a deal on Friday for Bieniemy to be Washington's new offensive coordinator, according to sources. Bieniemy was the Commanders' first choice all along, and they appear to be on the verge of hiring him after meeting with him for a second consecutive day on Friday. The two sides have agreed in principle to a two-year deal and are now working on contract language. Bieniemy spent the past five years running KC's offense behind head coach Andy Reid. In D.C., he'll be the team's primary play-caller, which he didn't have with the Chiefs. In three seasons with Scott Turner running the offense, the Commanders ranked 27th in yards per game and 28th in points per game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
