Cole Beasley Dealt With Injury In The Second Half
3 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (undisclosed) essentially became the team's de facto running back in the Week 9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars with the rushing attack not working at all. But he was playing through injury in the second half, playing only one of the team's 18 snaps in the fourth quarter. Beasley only had one catch on three targets in the second half while he finished with eight catches on 11 targets for 33 yards. If Beasley is forced to miss time, Isaiah McKenzie would likely replace him in the slot like he did for most of the fourth quarter against Jacksonville. It would also likely mean more work for Stefon Diggs and Emmanuel Sanders, but quarterback Josh Allen can ill-afford to lose his favorite third-down target.
