Chris Paddack Set for Tigers Debut Wednesday
Chris Paddack, who will make his team debut Wednesday afternoon against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Paddack was acquired from the Minnesota Twins in a deal that also included right-hander Randy Dobnak, with catching prospect Enrique Jimenez going the other way. Through 21 starts this season, Paddack posted a 4.95 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and a .266 opponents average. He takes the rotation spot of Reese Olson, who is expected to miss the rest of the season with a shoulder strain. Paddack is in his seventh major league season and owns a career 4.49 ERA.
