Chase Edmonds Has High Ankle Sprain, Will Miss 3-4 Games
3 years agoAn MRI exam on Monday confirmed a high ankle sprain for Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds. He is likely to land on Injured Reserve and is expected to miss three or four games. Edmonds was injured on the first play of the game in the Week 9 win over the San Francisco 49ers. These types of injuries generally keep players out anywhere from four to six weeks, so expect a significant absence for Edmonds. James Conner, who leads the NFL with 11 total touchdowns (10 rushing), has basically vaulted into RB1 territory with Edmonds out of the picture in this high-scoring Cardinals attack. Eno Benjamin saw nine carries and gained 39 yards and a touchdown on the ground with Edmonds out and will be worth a flier in deeper leagues for RB depth.
