Washington Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren will man the crease in Thursday's matchup against the Los Angeles Kings. He takes over from Logan Thompson, who beat the Anaheim Ducks 7-3 on Tuesday. The result against the Ducks gave Washington a fifth consecutive victory. Lindgren is personally on a 4-1-0 run. He has taken his record for the season to 15-10-3, allowing 2.64 goals with a .899 save percentage and one shutout. On Thursday, Lindgren faces a tough challenge against his former teammate Darcy Kuemper and a highly successful home team. The Kings have won 21 of their 28 home games this season, with Kuemper personally boasting a 12-1-2 record at the Crypto.com Arena.--Taavi Pailk
