Carmen Mlodzinski Lined up to Start on Tuesday
Right-hander Carmen Mlodzinski is listed as the Pittsburgh Pirates' starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers at PNC Park, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports. Mlodzinski will receive another turn through the Pittsburgh rotation. Still, for the second outing in a row, he'll most likely be deployed as an opener while bridging the gap to rookie Bubba Chandler as the long reliever. At this time, Chandler is a must-add in all formats, while Mlodzinski is not the best streaming option due to his limited upside and the unlikelihood of him working more than a few innings. Although Mlodzinski has a solid 3.86 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 84 innings pitched, he's primarily been a reliever and has yet to throw more than four innings in any appearance he's been in this year.
