Carlos Rodon May Need Tommy John Surgery
6 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Carlos Rodon (elbow), who was placed on the 10-day injured list on Thursday with left elbow inflammation, could be headed towards Tommy John surgery. Rodon is reportedly dealing with an edema in his flexor mass tendon. The Sox have said that everything is on the table, so Rodon could have Tommy John surgery, which would end his 2019 season. Dylan Covey is expected to replace Rodon in the starting rotation, assuming Rodon remains sidelined. More information should be known later this week.
