2 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals requested permission to interview Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers coach Troy Walters for their offensive coordinator position, according to a league source. In addition to Walters, the Cardinals are looking at Drew Petzing, Drew Terrell and Joel Thomas as their new offensive coordinator on new head coach Jonathan Gannon's staff. Walters has been with the Bengals since 2020. He played eight seasons in the NFL and began his coaching career at the collegiate level with Indiana State, Texas A&M, North Carolina State, Colorado, University of Central Florida and Nebraska. The Houston Texans also interviewed Walters for their offensive coordinator position before going with Bobby Slowik.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
