The Cleveland Browns hired Jim Schwartz as their new defensive coordinator on Tuesday, according to a source. Schwartz will be replacing Joe Woods, who was fired last week after the team ranked 19th in defensive efficiency in 2022. Cleveland finished with a record of 7-10 and missed the postseason for the second straight season. Schwartz served as the Detroit Lions head coach from 2009 to 2013 and went 29-51 in that span while also leading the Lions to the playoffs in 2011. He won a Super Bowl ring as the defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018. The 56-year-old spent the last two campaigns as a defensive assistant with the Tennessee Titans. He was a defensive coordinator with the Titans from 2001-08 and with the Buffalo Bills in 2014.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
