Bo Bichette Plans To Be More Aggressive On The Bases
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays general manager John Schneider said the team wants to be more aggressive on the bases in 2023, and shortstop Bo Bichette echoed that by saying he had already planned on being more aggressive this year, regardless of the new bases and rules. Bichette had 13 stolen bases in 2022 and a career-high 25 thefts in 2021, and fantasy managers certainly wouldn't mind a return to the 20-stolen base mark in 2023. The 24-year-old finished last year on fire at the plate and had a .290/.333/.469 slash line overall with an .802 OPS, 24 home runs, 93 RBI and 91 runs scored in 159 games played. RotoBaller currently has him ranked as the No. 2 fantasy shortstop, behind only Trea Turner. More stolen bases in 2023 would be the icing on the cake for the rising Bichette.
