San Diego Padres catcher Austin Hedges left Monday's game against the San Francisco Giants with elbow tendinitis. Hedges was replaced by catcher A.J. Ellis in the second inning after striking out in his only at-bat. Hedges has struggled this year, slashing .173/.235/.293 with two home runs.
