Both the contests between the Oakland Athletics and Texas Rangers and the Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals have been cancelled Thursday and will not take place. The cancellations are the latest MLB contests -- after three games were not played Wednesday -- to be shut down as players choose not to play in the wake of the Jacob Blake shooting. Neither contest was immediately announced for a makeup date, although with both clubs being located in the same division, it wouldn’t appear to be too much of an obstacle moving forward. Owners will want to make sure to remove all players from these games from any DFS or season-long lineups.--Jesse BorekRead More News
