Antonio Brown Unlikely To Play In Week 3
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown, who tested positive for COVID-19, is unlikely to rejoin the team in time to play in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams. Head coach Bruce Arians also said that pass-rusher Jason Pierre-Paul (hand, shoulder) and wide receiver Jaydon Mickens (abdomen) won't make the trip to Los Angeles this weekend. Brown missed practice on Friday and needs two negative COVID-19 tests at least 24 hours apart in order to be cleared. Fantasy managers need to make other plans this weekend. Brown's likely absence means that Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Rob Gronkowski should be in line for more targets in a tough matchup with the Rams defense. Scotty Miller could also be a decent deep sleeper in DFS as the fourth receiving target.
