3 months agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Anthony DeSclafani was exceptional in a 5-0 win over the Miami Marlins on Wednesday. DeSclafani spun seven shutout innings in the win while racking up eight strikeouts and walking one. The veteran only gave up two hits during the win, which improved his record to 9-7, to go along with a 4.05 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 139 strikeouts in 135 2/3 innings of work. DeSclafani has been pitching well of late, with just a 1.00 ERA over his past 18 innings of work. He will look to keep rolling in his next start, which comes against the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
