Amed Rosario Traded to Yankees
Amed Rosario from the Washington Nationals, Jack Curry of YES Network reports. The Nationals will receive right-hander Clayton Beeter and outfielder Browm Martinez in return. Rosario will address the Yankees' need for a versatile infielder who hits from the right side. The well-traveled 29-year-old has typically provided credible offensive production since he debuted with the New York Mets in 2017. Rosario is a career .273/.308/.399 hitter with 68 home runs and 110 stolen bases in 3,871 plate appearances. In 158 trips to the plate with the Nationals this year, Rosario batted .270/.310/.426 with five homers, 18 RBI, 19 runs scored, and a steal.
