Alvin Kamara Doesn't Practice Thursday
4 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (foot) wasn't seen at practice on Thursday. Kamara was able to get in a limited practice on Wednesday, so the Saints may just be giving him a little breather similar to a few weeks ago when the star running back was dealing with some sore toes. It's too early to panic, but fantasy managers will be watching Kamara's practice status closely and his official designation for Week 11 against the Falcons. Atlanta has allowed a league-low three rushing touchdowns to running backs and the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to RBs this year, but Kamara remains a must-start, high-end RB1 when he's on the field. New Orleans could lean more on short passes to Kamara with Drew Brees (ribs, lung) out at least two weeks, too. Check back for his official designation on Friday. Backup Latavius Murray would be a strong RB2 play if Kamara were inactive on Sunday.
