Allen Hurns Expected To Return For Training Camp
6 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Allen Hurns (ankle, leg) is expected to return at some point in training camp after suffering a gruesome lower leg injury in the playoffs last season. He continues to rehab a dislocated left ankle and fractured left fibula, and the Cowboys will give him a chance to win a starting job behind Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Randall Cobb. The 27-year-old caught just 20 passes for 295 yards and two touchdowns in his first season with Dallas, though, and he won't be on many fantasy owners' radars going into drafts this fall. The Cowboys can save $5 million in salary cap space if they release Hurns, so he's not guaranteed to stick with them.
