Alex Call Out With Back Injury
Alex Call (back) is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale against the visiting Cincinnati Reds due to a lower-back injury, according to manager Dave Roberts. Call has really only been starting for a loaded Dodgers team when they face a left-handed pitcher like on Wednesday night versus Nick Lodolo, but he's resting up due to a back injury. Michael Conforto will get the nod in left field instead and will bat sixth for the Blue as they go for the three-game sweep. Call's fantasy value has taken a hit since being traded from the Washington Nationals to the Dodgers at this year's trade deadline. He's hitting .275 (64-for-233) on the season, but with only four home runs and 29 RBI in 91 total games. Since coming to the Dodgers, he's gone 10-for-36 (.278) with a homer, three RBI and one steal in 19 games.
