Indianapolis Colts tight end (TE) Mo Alie-Cox is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup to target as a free agent addition for Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 33% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox has posted solid fantasy games in three straight weeks now and all indications seem to be headed for a breakout season for the third-year pro.
Alie-Cox scored the Colts' only touchdown in Week 4. It was a 13-yard reception and his only reception of the game. The previous two weeks, Alie-Cox saw a much more significant workload. In Week 2, he caught five passes for 111 yards and in Week 3, he caught three passes for 50 yards and a touchdown.
The Colts will use their tight ends a ton this year as Philip Rivers has always heavily leaned on tight ends throughout his career. Alie-Cox will lose some targets to the team's other tight ends, Jack Doyle and Trey Burton, but Alie-Cox is clearly emerging as the most dynamic playmaker of the team's tight end trio and should see the most opportunities of the group going forward.
Alie-Cox is worth adding for anyone who needs tight end help and he should be owned in all leagues of 14 teams or deeper.
