Kyler Murray's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 18 (2023). Should you start or sit Kyler Murray for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB1
ANALYSIS: Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray showed out in last week's monster win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Murray completed 25 of his 31 pass attempts for 232 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. The quarterback also had five carries for 24 yards on the ground. There is no surprise that Murray had his best performance this season against one of the league's better groups as a whole.
In Week 18, the Cardinals will compete against the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks haven't been the best against opposing quarterbacks as they stand 12th in the NFL in most passing yards allowed this season which could benefit Murray after having a three-touchdown day last week. Expect wide receiver Greg Dortch to have an impact in this matchup after seeing 12 total targets in his last two weeks played.
Fantasy managers should be able to trust Murray this week as he goes up against a Seattle defense that has struggled this season. Murray provides both rushing and passing abilities which gives him the edge when compared to other quarterbacks near his ranking. In most leagues, Murray can be viewed as a QB1 option with top-five upside.
Kyler Murray is listed at QB7 in our Half-PPR rankings.
