ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers running back Kimani Vidal has had little fantasy football impact this season. The rookie running back is the RB75 for the year, averaging 3.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He has been a healthy scratch for most of the season.
However, Vidal could be a league winner in Week 17. The Chargers won’t have Gus Edwards because of an ankle injury. Meanwhile, J.K. Dobbins is questionable to play after missing the past four games with a knee injury that landed him on injured reserve.

Vidal is a must-add off the waiver wire and an RB2 this week if Dobbins can’t play Saturday against the New England Patriots. The Patriots have surrendered 22.7 fantasy points per game to running backs, the seventh-most in the NFL. They have given up 144.5 rushing yards, 1.5 touchdowns, and 32.3 fantasy points per game to running backs since their bye week.
