Jets running back (RB) Josh Adams is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup to target as a free agent addition for Week 14 of the 2020 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: The New York Jets had to turn to their backup plan for their backfield early in Week 13 when Frank Gore (concussion) went into concussion protocol after just one carry. Gore didn't return in the game and the team leaned heavily on Ty Johnson throughout the game, but they also got a solid performance from Josh Adams.
Adams rushed eight times for 74 yards against the Las Vegas Raiders this week, good for 9.3 yards per carry. Johnson was similarly effective with his heavy workload, rushing 22 times for 104 yards and a score.
With La'Mical Perine (ankle) on Injured Reserve and Gore likely questionable for next week, Adams has a good chance to see some solid volume in a favorable Week 14 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, who just surrendered 135 rushing yards to Wayne Gallman,
Make a claim for Adams in any league of 14 teams or deeper. He's also worth monitoring in more shallow leagues, especially if we get news that Gore appears likely to be out in Week 14.
