BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end QB1
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been everything and more as far as expectations go this season and now their playoff hopes come down to their Week 18 matchup against the Chicago Bears. The Bears have been phenomenal defensively in the back half of the season, currently leading the NFL in interceptions, and have been one of the more dominant run-prevention units. This will be one of Love's toughest tests yet, but the quarterback will have his home crowd to provide backup in this rivalry classic.
Last week, Love was on fire completing 24 of his 33 pass attempts for 256 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He also ran the ball two times and found himself a fourth touchdown on a quarterback sneak. Love has found chemistry with rookie wideout Jayden Reed who saw two touchdowns last week on six catches. Reed has helped boost this offense with star wideout Christian Watson missing time but is expected to return any week now.
Despite how spectacularly Love has played, fantasy managers should be more cautious this week as the Bears' defense has caused problems for many offenses throughout the league. Love can still be viewed as a start-able option, but might not have as much upside as he has the last couple of weeks. He can be valued as a low-end QB1 in Week 18.
Jordan Love is listed as the QB9 in our Half-PPR rankings.
