BALLER MOVE: Don't start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end Flex
ANALYSIS:
The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison saw just three targets and caught two of them for 27 yards in the Week 14 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite the rough performance, the rookie has put himself together a solid season now with 56 catches, 713 yards, and seven touchdowns through 14 weeks of the season. However, with fantasy playoffs arriving managers are wondering if they can trust Addison in their lineups this week. Let's dive in.
There is no surprise that since veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins went down with a season-ending injury, Addison has severely struggled with not just touchdowns, but reception work as well despite playing an excellent snap percentage week in and week out. The rookie saw seven touchdowns in the first eight weeks of the season, but has yet to see a score since and has struggled to find separation since the change at quarterback.
In Week 15, the Vikings will face off against the Cincinnati Bengals who sit top of the league at 6th with the most receiving yards given up this season which does give Addison an edge in the contest. The problem however has never been Addison, as it has been the quarterback play and the lack of targets since Cousins' injury. Star receiving Justin Jefferson is listed as questionable for the Vikings as well, but if he is able to play this could cap Addison's workload even more. Due to recent inconsistently, Addison can only be viewed as a low-end flex in Week 15.
Jordan Addison is listed 47th in our Half-PPR rankings.
