Jerome Ford's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2024). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jerome Ford for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB5
ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford is a low-upside handcuff now that his team's lead back, Nick Chubb, has returned. Chubb is handling the majority of the workload, and there hasn't been much left over for Ford from what we've seen. He had just three touches in Week 9.
Nick Chubb
I know Nick Chubb hasn’t done much thus far, but that could change against a very bad Saints defense. The Saints rank No. 27 in rushing yards allowed per game and have given up multiple TDs to RBs over the past two weeks (Bijan - 2, Chuba Hubbard - 2), and at least…

It's not a big surprise that No. 24 is back to leading the backfield. He's one of the best running backs to play the game in the last decade, and he was elite before his injury. If he can return to even 80% of what he was, he should be the workhorse of the Browns offense.
Ford saw 49% of the snaps in Week 9, so it's not as if he's not on the field. But his lack of involvement in the passing game (just three targets) is concerning. He saw two games of seven targets before Chubb came back, but that's less likely to repeat itself, since he played 75% and 78% of the snaps in those contests.
He's a decent player to have handcuffed to the lead back, but doesn't have any standalone value and shouldn't be started.
