ANALYSIS: A glance at Jeimer Candelario's full-season numbers wouldn't suggest that he's a guy you need to run to the waiver wire for, but he's just outside the top 75 players in 5x5 over the past month. The 27-year-old has hit .272 with six home runs, 16 runs scored, and 18 RBI during that time, with half of those homers coming in the last week. He's a fixture in the heart of the Tigers lineup, and after a couple of underwhelming seasons to start his MLB career, he's hit .279/.354/.462 with 22 HR, 101 R, and 91 RBI since the start of the 2020 campaign.
Eligible at both corner infield positions, Candelario is a fine CI option in deeper formats and an excellent bench bat in shallow leagues.
