BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams rushed 17 times for 66 yards and a touchdown while also catching three of his four targets for 25 yards in the Week 14 win over the Chargers. Williams has had himself a solid season so far now totaling 650 yards but has just one rushing touchdown on the year.
Williams has turned his season around in his recent performances as fantasy managers grew frustrated with the running back to begin the year but now have seen him total double-digit fantasy outings in six of the last seven games in Full-PPR scoring. There is no question that the running back gets his touches, but production has been something that has been difficult to say the least as Williams' has had just two games with a 4.5 yards per carry or more this season.
In Week 15, the Broncos will be on the road as they take on the Detroit Lions who rank 9th in the NFL in fewest rushing yards allowed this season. This of course doesn't help Williams' case, but he should still find volume in what could potentially evolve into a high-scoring affair. Fantasy managers can view Williams as an RB2 with some value if he is able to find the end zone. The running back should be able to provide both production on the ground and through the receiving game.
Javonte Williams is listed 19th in our Half-PPR rankings.
