Jalen McMillan is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 3% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The rookie out of Washington had an impressive debut, as he hauled in a 32-yard touchdown from Baker Mayfield in the fourth quarter. Jalen McMillan was targeted two more times but did not catch either pass.
McMillan is clearly behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin in the pecking order for Tampa Bay, leaving him little standalone fantasy value. With that being said, the third-round rookie has a lot of talent and has a lot of fantasy upside if one of the veterans ahead of him were to miss time.

He should be rostered in any deep league, particularly 14+ team leagues or 12-team leagues with deep benches. If Evans or Godwin were to go down with an injury, McMillan would climb into WR3 territory. The rookie will make his second career start against the Lions this week.
