Jalen McMillan is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 17 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen McMillan has finally strung together a nice trio of games after an uninspiring start to the season. He had issues with things like running incorrect routes and failing to get much consistent separation earlier in the season, but it appears he's finally turned things around to some degree. And the absence of fellow WR Chris Godwin (ankle) has opened up more targets for the rookie.

He's made numerous tough contested catches and vastly improved his separation down the field in recent weeks, and those have shown up on the stat sheet. He's managed to score 21.9, 18.5, and 16.7 PPR fantasy points in his last three games. Those are WR1 numbers if they keep up, though they've been buoyed by four touchdowns over that span.
Bucs offensive coordinator Liam Coen and Baker Mayfield work together to run a fantastic passing attack, though. Mayfield is one of the most prolific QBs in the league this year, and McMillan's WR2 role in this offense is extremely valuable. He should be picked up in all leagues. And in many leagues, it makes perfect sense to start him, too.
