BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS:
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught five of his six passes for 25 yards while playing an impressive 98 percent snap count in the Week 14 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Meyers has had an overall solid season so far as he has now totaled 57 receptions for 616 yards and six touchdowns through 14 weeks.
The 27-year-old has played more of a boom-or-bust role for fantasy managers this season as he has seen double-digit performances in just half of his games played and stands as the WR28 in full-PPR formatted leagues. The decline has come partially due to the transition from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to rookie Aidan O'Connell but the offense has been struggling as a whole, currently sitting on a three game losing streak.
In Week 15, the Raiders will face off against the Los Angeles Chargers, who have allowed the most receiving yards this season to opposing offenses. This gives Meyers a very favorable matchup, which could allow him to find success against a weaker secondary.
Meyers has seen just one touchdown in the last six weeks, which has brought his fantasy value back to earth after a tremendous start to the season but will need to continue to see targets for him to succeed. The wideout can be viewed as a WR3 against the Chargers in Week 15.
Jakobi Meyers is listed 37th in our Half-PPR rankings for Week 15.
