George Pickens's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 15 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit George Pickens for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Flex
ANALYSIS:
The Pittsburgh Steelers wideout George Pickens caught five of his six receptions for just 19 yards in the Week 14 loss to the New England Patriots. The second-year receiver has now totaled 49 receptions, 767 yards, and three touchdowns this season.
Frustrations continue to grow for Pickens this season and it seems with just a couple of weeks left, it won't be getting much better anytime soon. Pickens currently is on a six-game touchdown drought and has seen just three 100-yard performances this year. With quarterback Mitch Trubisky now taking the snaps under center, this should give Pickens a greater chance to see success as the two did put up six targets on Trubisky's 35 pass attempts.
In Week 15, the Steelers will face off against the Indianapolis Colts who rank 19th in the NFL in fewest yards allowed to receivers this season which could give Pickens an edge in this matchup. The game script will benefit Pickens as well since the Steelers will most likely be looking to pass against the Colts. Fantasy managers should be cautious when considering starting the wideout, but can be viewed as a flex option in Week 15.
George Pickens is ranked as the 46th WR in our Half-PPR rankings.
