Garrett Wilson start or sit Week 11 advice. Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2024). Should I start or sit Garrett Wilson for fantasy football?
BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson followed up a brilliant nine catch, 90 yard, two touchdown performance on 10 targets with a bit of a dud in Week 10. Against the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday, he caught just five passes for 41 yards as the Jets were miserable on offense in a blowout loss.
Garrett Wilson can capitalize on Indy's zone-heavy approach
Wilson is targeted at the 14th highest rate among WRs against zone coverage, and the Colts play zone coverage at the 3rd highest rate in the NFL. This sets up a favorable matchup for the Jets' receiver. pic.twitter.com/XwoCaWHLej

This isn't any reason to bench him, though. He's still a great WR who happens to be stuck on a terrible offense and dealing with poor quarterback play. We should expect him to be a boom-or-bust player for the rest of the season, but there should be optimism for a few more "boom" games.
The Colts don't do a great job stopping receivers -- they rank in the bottom half of points allowed to opposing wideouts in 2024. And the absence of WR Allen Lazard (chest), who remains on injured reserve, means more targets for the third-year pro. Typically, it's better to start players based on their upside, and Wilson has plenty, so he shouldn't be left on the bench.
