Fantasy Football Injury Reports For Week 10 (Sunday Morning Updates): Ja'Marr Chase, T.J. Hockenson, Kyler Murray, James Conner, Keaton Mitchell, and more

Ja'Marr Chase fantasy football rankings NFL DFS lineup picks

Fantasy football injury updates and injury reports for RB, WR, TE for Week 10 (2023), as of 11/12, including Ja'Marr Chase, T.J. Hockenson, Kyler Murray, James Conner, Keaton Mitchell, and more.

As we head into Week 10 of the NFL season, injuries continue to pile up and play a huge factor in start/sit decisions for fantasy managers. Our injury updates and reports for Week 10 as of Sunday, November 12, 2023, will give you the latest updates on key fantasy football assets.

The injury news for Week 10 of the NFL season has featured many notable fantasy football players such as Ja'Marr Chase, T.J. Hockenson, Kyler Murray, and more. These issues are in addition to players that have already been ruled out earlier in the week like Tee Higgins, Daniel Jones, Darren Waller, and others.

To keep close tabs on all of the news across the NFL, make sure to favorite or bookmark the fantasy football player news page, or download the free RotoBaller fantasy football mobile app with push notification alerts on all the latest news. Let's look at the updates for some key fantasy options and see whether they may play in Week 10.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Ja'Marr Chase Injury Update

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (back) "is considered 50-50 at best to play," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo. "While there was no structural damage, he's in pain and it's unclear how functional he'll be," tweets Rapoport. At this point, it sounds like there is clear pessimism surrounding Chase's status for Week 10 versus the Houston Texans.

He's a true game-time decision, but even if he's active, fantasy managers should temper their expectations in case he runs routes as a decoy or plays on a snap count. With Tee Higgins (hamstring) already ruled out and Chase's status in doubt, Tyler Boyd and Trenton Irwin should see a significant uptick in opportunities.

Kyler Murray Injury Update

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon officially named quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) the starter for their Week 10 contest versus the Atlanta Falcons. This was the expectation all along after Murray had been practicing with the team for the last two weeks while recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in Week 14 of last year.

He will be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list to make his 2023 debut this Sunday. The 26-year-old will take over for rookie Clayton Tune and will remain Arizona's starter for the second half of the season as long as he remains healthy. Murray gives the Cardinals' offense much more upside, but fantasy managers may want to expect some rest after such a long layoff. He still deserves to be rostered in all fantasy formats, though.

T.J. Hockenson Injury Updates

Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson (ribs) is expected to play versus the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. However, he continues to be affected by his injury and will have a limited role.

According to Ed Werder of ESPN, Hockenson "won't play as many snaps as normal but will be on [the] field in key situations." As a result, the tight end's fantasy value takes a hit, though his talent keeps him in the TE1 tier. Fantasy managers should still start Hockenson in most scenarios, but temper expectations.

K.J. Osborn Injury Update

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn (head) is not expected to play in Week 10 versus the New Orleans Saints, according to ESPN's Ed Werder. While Osborn cleared concussion protocol, the team listed him as questionable amidst lingering concerns following his severe collision one week earlier.

Now, Werder reports that the receiver will be inactive, calling it a "coach-player decision." With Osborn out and T.J. Hockenson (rib) playing limited snaps, Jordan Addison could have a huge game. Brandon Powell also puts himself on the fantasy radar in deep leagues.

Stefon Diggs Injury Update

The Buffalo Bills removed wide receiver Stefon Diggs (back) from the Week 10 injury report Saturday after two limited practices with a back injury. Diggs has flourished as a fantasy dream in his age-30 campaign, logging six catches or greater in each of his first nine games to lead the position in receptions (70).

The three-time Pro Bowler has also racked up 11 targets or greater in seven out of nine tries, pacing wideouts in targets (97). Diggs now prepares to battle All-Pro Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain II Monday, and defensive coordinator Vance Joseph's secondary has also stiffened up after a dreadful start to hold WRs to the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game (26.75) over the past four weeks.

With fellow elite WR1s Tyreek HillA.J. Brown, and Cooper Kupp on bye with an iffy Ja'Marr Chase (back), though, Diggs may very well check in as Week 10's top WR1 despite the formidable draw.

Justin Jefferson Injury Update

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) won't be activated ahead of the Week 10 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. The superstar wideout had a chance of being activated from the injury reserve, but the team has decided to wait. Jefferson has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 5 but has a good chance at returning next week.

The absence of Jefferson means that Jordan AddisonT.J. Hockenson, and Alexander Mattison will continue to be asked to pick up the slack. They will all have boosted fantasy value once again with Jefferson on the sideline this weekend.

James Conner Injury Update

Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (knee) has been activated from IR and will play in Week 10 on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Conner has been on IR since Week 6 with a knee injury but he's been trending towards being activated and playing this week for a while now.

With Emari Demercado (knee) ruled out Conner could be in line for a solid week against the Falcons. Fantasy managers who have held on to Conner should put him back in their lineups and expect RB2 numbers if the game script turns out to be favorable.

Nico Collins Injury Update

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. This was hardly a surprise after he failed to practice on Thursday and Friday. It'll be the first absence of the year for Collins, who has 36 catches, 631 yards, and four touchdowns so far.

The Texans have done a good job spreading around their targets and should continue to do so without their top receiver. With that said, look for Tank Dell and Dalton Schultz to benefit the most from this news. Both players are worth inserting into your fantasy lineups ahead of kickoff on Sunday.

Dameon Pierce Injury Update

Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. This was widely expected considering he hasn't been able to practice at all over the last two weeks. In his absence, the Texans will once again turn to Devin Singletary as their lead back.

He totaled just 26 yards on 13 carries last week, but that was against an extremely good Buccaneers run defense. He could fare better against the Bengals, picking up more YPC while also seeing extra work in the passing attack. Fantasy managers should view Singletary as a fine RB3/FLEX play this weekend.

Keaton Mitchell Injury Update

Baltimore Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns. The rookie running back is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury but managed to get in a full practice on Friday, which puts him on track to suit up and play.

The undrafted rookie broke out in Week 9 against the Seahawks when he ran for 138 yards and a touchdown on just nine carries. He still figures to split carries with Gus Edwards and Justice Hill could always mix in as a chance-of-pace option as well. Mitchell has a low floor due to the Ravens' backfield committee but his Week 9 explosion still makes him an intriguing FLEX play in Week 10, even against a tough Browns defense.
